"The Dude Abides"

When we got the inquiry last summer for a Big Lebowski mural, to say we were excited would be an award winning understatement. White Russians magically appeared in our hands and we cheered to getting to paint one of our favorite iconic movie characters. When our client then told us she had based the colors in the room the mural would be in, on The Dude’s iconic bathrobe we began to suspect we were dealing a special client. Once we met her and her family it was cemented. The Kain family, Rebecca, her husband James, and their two kids were so kind in in welcoming us into their home. The mural was painted in their “breakfast nook” in the interior of their gorgeous Franklin home. So surrounded by natural light and all the puppy kisses, we got to work. Part of what makes this piece special is that even though it was painted with spray paint, it looks like it was painted with a brush, giving it an oil painted allusion with an abstract and modern twist. Mini artist in the making, seven year old Sloan, was rarely out of sight and kept everyone's spirits up. You know you’re on the right path in life when you leave your job with a smile from ear to ear everyday. Getting to know this family made this experience extra special and we feel so grateful that they reached out to us for this custom piece. This piece of art will continue to bring family and friends together for generations to come.

We take so much pride in what we do, and exceeding our clients’ expectations is why our business has continued to succeed. We pour our heart and soul into each of our projects. We are so grateful for each and every one of our clients for giving us these opportunities and making this life possible for us.

So enjoy these pics from one of our most fun murals yet! And ya know, “Take it easy. I know you will.”
